Can Pancreatitis Cause Intermittent Lower Abdominal Pain?
I have pain in my lower abdomen which comes in waves. I am diabetic and have had pancreatitis in the past. Could this be pancreatitis again? It seems as though this pain is lower, closer to my hip bones and across the front of me (right above my pubic area).
Pancreatitis can cause recurrent abdominal pain. You can take analgesics like Tramadol for pain relief and also take pancreatic enzyme supplements also. If pain persists, better to consult a surgeon and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
