Can Pears Be Eaten After Removing Worms And The Infected Area?
I have Asian Pear Tree on my backyard and the some pears have white worm inside, is it safe to eat them? I normally cut the portion infected with worm and eat the remain clean portion of it, so I was wondering if there are any eggs or any part of the worms section that has infected the fruit would be Ok to eat.
It would be best if you do not eat fruits infested with worms, even if you have cut away the part where the worms were. Fresh, wholesome clean fruits is what you must have.
