Can Penedura Injection Cause Any Side Effect For Life Long Usage?

I am suffering from heart daises since age of 10 years and advised to take penedura injection after on every 21 days. Now I am 36 so i want to know how long i have to take this injection as doctors says I have to take this for life time. Is it so? And is there any problem if I continued it for life time.
