Can People With RBBB Lead A Normal Life?

my 14 year old son was diagnosed to be suffering from RBBB heart disease and he is on propranol daily. i am worried that at this young age he is having heart disease. can he live a normal life?

My aunt's annual health check showed RBBB on ECG. Doctor said nothing to worry because she has no symptoms of any heart disease. I am not sure why your son  wouwas put on medicine. Was he having some symptom..? I guess so, otherwise you would not have ECG for a young child. Right? But from whatever we learnt  about RBBB from doctor it is probably not very serious defect and my impression was that most people with it will have a normal life.

RBBB in this age group is due to many reasons ...in this age grp usually congenital heart disease s shud b ruled out .....he must hav got his echocardiography done ? is it normal ... dont worry so much ...its not a disease its a manifestation of disease / or a normal variant ... i think u shud visit a cardiologist to clear doubts ... there r so many reasons .

in many people RBBB can be normal finding, if you can tell which type of heart disease your son suffering, then it will be more easy to tell about the progress and natural history of the disease.
why he is on propranolol ??? prescribed by cardiologist ???

yes my grandma is having RBBB, she has only high Bp no other issue. she is leading a nomal life.

rbbb is found normally in a large number of population, and there is nothing to be done, they lead a normal life, it is just an incidental finding on ECG

I got RBBB when I reached 40 years old (9 years ago) it was found after my medical check up and up to my most recent check ups still like that. But in my country Indonesia, RBBB is catogorized as disesase and unfit for work. This really frustrates me.
