Can Performing Semen Analysis Prior To Urine Analysis Affect The Urine Result?

Hello I recently got my blood results back and it states my microalbumin levels were at 337.8 and my micro/creat ratio was at 176. The day of the exam I also did a seamen analysis before giving the urine sample, would seamen affect the urine test levels?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The semen analysis can be done before urine examination.
The two tests will not affect each other.
Presence of microalbuminuria of more than 300 mg/dl is seen in cases of diabetic nephropathy.
In heath the level of microalbumin is between 30-300 mg/dl.
It is evident from your report that you are suffering from diabetes and now diabetic nephropathy.
You need to consult your treating doctor for management of the condition.

Thanks and take care
