Can Picking Of Potatoes And Working As Harvester Cause Sever Back Pain At 43 Years Age?

I am 43 years old and have been going to a chiropractor for 1 year for my back pain. I was told when I was in High school that I did have a curvature in my spine but they said it was due to me playing sports and carrying my backpack. I have never had a back injury. Have worked since I was 7 years old, picking potatoes and working on a harvester in Northern Maine. All of my jobs have had some heavy lifting and alot of standing, have never had a sit down job. What do you think I can do to help maintain my back pain? I have to go back to the Chiroprator at least once a month. I do work as an Orthodontic assistant currently which does not help the back pain. Can you help me?

lifting heavy weights and prolonged standing can cause chronic back pain.
if you have severe pain now take painkiller till the pain subsides. As the pain subsides start on physiotherapy if the pain does not recur continue physiotherapy to strengthen the core back muscles and abdominal muscles along with lifestyle modifications like avoid lifting weights, avoid squatting and prolonged standing.
if the pain recurs then you need to visit a doctor get x-ray and mri scan done to isolate the pathology and treat accordingly.
