Can Plasma Be Donated By Person With Congenital Defect In Heart?

I was born with a coarctation of the aorta. I had it repaired when I was 18 days old, about 21 years ago now. I am wondering if I am able to donate plasma even with this congenital defect in my past? I am not limited by this repair in any way, shape, or form. I am followed by a cardiologist and meet with them once every two years.
