Can Playing Video Games For A Long Time Cause Numbness In My Fingernail?

Hello. Just last night I took a small amount of MDMA and played a really extensive amount of video games in one sitting, about 8 hours. This whole day my right ring fingernail is numb, not completely to where there is no pain but I can tell it s numb. I did experience a sort of contraction or something that felt like a shock, not painful just awkward. Should I go see a doctor or do you think it was just from playing 8 hours straight of video games? Your help and expertise is greatly appreciated, Thank you!

It is quite obvious that the numbness that you are expecting is due to the stress on your thumb for playing video game continuously.

There is no need to worry as this is something which can happen to anyone if he plays for ling duration.
I personally don't feel there is any need to visit a doctor.
Just give some rest to your thumb. It will be fine soon.
If it is paining too much, you may take painkillers for 2-3 days.

To prevent this again, kindly do not play continuously without rest.
