Can Postinor Cause Vaginal Bleeding With Abdominal Pain Before Periods?
Hello! On June 4 my boyfriend and I had sex with a condom. For some odd reason the condom ripped and he ejaculated inside of me. On June 5 I took Postinor-2. The pharmacist told me it was ok to take BOTH DOSAGES AT THE SAME TIME! And I did. My last cycle was May 28, and my cycle is always around 28 days! On June 10 after having sex with my boyfriend I noticed I was bleeding afterwards, then started spotting. That only happened for a couple of hours. Then on June 12 I started experiencing minor abdominal pains which turned into cramps then I started bleeding it s not heavy, but it s the fact that I m bleeding and experiencing cramps. Could it be because I took both dosage at once? Or is this a side effect? How long does the bleeding and cramps last? My next cycle isn t due until June 25. What s going to happen then? I took Postinor-2 once about three years ago and I didn t experience any of this only serve cramps and really heavy bleeding when my period came! Please help me!

Bleeding heavy, sometimes spotting and abdominal cramps are the side effects of postinor 2. Taking 2 tablets of postinor 2 together is the normal dose of postinor 2 for emergency contraception. There is nothing to worry. Bleeding usually remains for 3 to 4 days. However sometimes spotting can be prolonged. Your next cycle will be get delayed for few days. You can calculate your next cycle from post postinor 2 bleeding.
