Can Repeated Strokes, Rapidly Fluctuating BP And Pain And Mottling In Limbs Indicate Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)?

My friend who live in Austrailia and I had been talking today and she was waiting for ambulance to take her back to the hospital, she had several strokes this past wk her b/p is out rageolus at 200/120/ they cannot seem to keep it in control and she told me she was going in to hops for severe pain in her hard, cold, mottled legs...as a nurse i KNOW this isn't good, I had a patient clot off and then die the next day...no other RNs caught this but me is it DVT and if so has she "clotted off"? Will she die soon? :(
