Can Repeated Trauma To The Head Cause Dizziness?

hello. I would like to know the cause of my dizziness. I had a big argument with my husband & he hit me so many times in my head. This is not the first time it happened but this the first time that I feel dizzy. Its 2 days ago now but still i have this feeling specially when I move my head downward.

Hi,
thank You for contacting HCM,
Trauma to the head , depends on its nature can cause several problems i.e. headache, nausea, vomiting, memory loss, blurring of vision, dizziness, fits even loss of consciousness etc.

There are two impacts of any force--Direct and indirect, due to the direct impact at the site of the force(in your case by direct hitting) and the brain inside the skull suffers the injury while indirect head injury happens due to indirect trauma to the brain

Well as for your query yes its certainly related to trauma to the head which can not only happen to repeated trauma but also due to a single trauma alone.

If you want my opinion ,its better to get in to your nearest ER or check with your neurologist for a thorough neurological check-up and probably get a CT-Scan of the head done

Hope this'll help you, thanks again for contacting HCM , let me know how things go..
