Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Sometimes, the organisms could have developed resistance to the regular first line of drugs given to treat tuberculosis. Since the lymph node is still not resolved, your treatment has been extended by 3 more months, which would have been instituted with change of certain drugs. Kindly take the treatment as advised strictly. Gradually, your platelet count should also improve. There would be no restriction in the diet, however, it is advisable to take healthy foods.
