Hello, I recently had ultrasound after a physicial, to check abdominal aneurysm . It showed a dilated bile duct, and was sent for a mrcp. It came back as : mild dilatation of the proper hepatic duct with tapering of the common bile duct becoming near string-like at the level of the ampulla. This raises the possibility of ampullary stenosis. I now have appointment coming up with a gastroenteritis. I guess next is a ercp? I have some stomach pain every once in awhile with no other symptoms, this was just caught because of other reasons. GB been removed for about 10 yrs now. From what I read I'm concerned about cancer.
