Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can Severe Headaches, Diarrhoea And Extreme Thirst Be Outcomes Of Anxiety-related Problems?
Hello. I have been having some pretty serious feelings of anxiety for the past 6-8 months. It has recently been a lot worse and I am now experiencing severe headaches that last for days, extreme thirst, and diarrhea that also lasts for 3-5 days . I don t know if this could be due to the anxiety or if I may have another issue.
Your symptoms seem to be related to anxiety. I recommend using over the counter option to treat a headache such as Ibuprofen three times a day.
I recommend using Imodium for diarrhea. I also suggest you take medication for the anxiety such as Xanax. You should consult your doctor about the prescription.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
