Can Sinus Or Periodontics Cause Sharp Nerve Type Pains In The Head?
Can sinus issues and/or periodontics cause sharp nerve type pains in the head that occur maybe once a month for literally a split second. Only to not return for a few weeks with the same type of shooting pain. Pain is always in the frontal lope area and varies from front left to front right side of head when it does occur sporadically or once or twice monthly. I never need a Tylenol because pain is a quick sharp nerve type pain that only last maybe a minute.
Dear Friend Welcome to Health care magic. I am Dr Charu , I will shortly try to help you with my opinion. Sharp pain in head can be because of sinusitis. If you have throbbing , nausea , vomiting , photophobia , phonophobia , a consideration should be given to migraine. I advise you to get a Xray PNS (Water view) to see for sinusitis. Take regular steam inhalation , and anti allergic drug like levocetrizine in consultation with your physician. Based on the available details, this is my best advice for you. You should discuss with your doctor and share my opinion , I am sure he/she will agree to my opinion. Good Luck.
