Can Sleep Apnea Cause Tiredness With Return To Normal Oxygen Levels?

I have really high RWC. I am constantly tired, can t wake up in the mornings, start to fall asleep when I am driving, etc. I read things about it because it scare me. I am an ex-smoker and I used to like at 4700 feet elevation. Since I moved to sea level my blood oxygen went from 80% back to normal. I am being tested for various things but could sleep apnea cause this?

I read your question and I understand your concern.

Reading at your symptoms the answer is yes, sleep apnea can cause those symptoms of tiredness and sleepiness during the day, chances of that being the cause are higher if you are obese or have a nasal deformity. Other signs would be if you have been told to snore a lot during the night or have moments where you stop breathing, abrupt awakenings.
It is good that you are being tested for other causes as well. As for sleep apnea if in doubt about its diagnosis the required test is polysomnography.

I hope to have been of help.
