Can Smoking Be Continued With An Iodine Treatment?

I am currently undergoing testing for hyperthyroidism because I have lost extreme weight. I am scheduled for a thyroid uptake exam and have been given a diet to be on for a week. I tend to smoke marijuana as a way to try and put on weight. Can I continue smoking while being tested with the iodine treatment?

Its not advisable to do that. If you are undergoing tests then you smoking marijuana may interfere with the test results. If your thyroid illness recovers you will gain a lot of weight by yourself. As of now you should be away from marijuana.
