Can Smoking Weed And Cigarettes Cause Puffiness Under The Eyes?
Hey! Can smoking weed and cigaretts cause bags under the eyes? And a long time ago, was it normal for people to have acne everywhere? Because im starting to think its what i eat. Because people in africa and tribes in the jungle dont use top of the line products like i do and they have flawless skin. They live organic all the way, and us canadians live on fake food. Which makes sense. I tied everything to get rid of my acne and puffyness under my eyes but i think they re permanent.
Quit smoking cigarettes and weed, gradually or take the help of a detox center. It is injurious for health. Toxins in the cigarettes cause the skin to loose elasticity and thus causes it to sag and develop puffiness underneath and around the eye. Smoking also causes lack of good sleep and hence puffiness around the eyes.
Puffiness is also caused due to sinus issues, taking too much salt, not taking adequate amount of water. Avoid taking alcohol, smoking, drugs or addictions if any. Get clinically examined by a GP. You will be treated by therapies or recommended surgery if required.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
