Can Sore Throat Be Caused Due To Shingles?
I have shingles rthe right side of my head. The rash was on my eye lid and eye brow and up into my scalp. The pain was felt on my ear and the back of my neck. Could my sore throat which I had from the time shingles started, Dec. 2nd, to now be caused from the shingles?

The shingles can manifest as ulcerations over the oral mucosa. It can be seen in palate, buccal mucosa and pharyngeal mucosa. The sore throat can also be a symptom of shingles. You can take symptomatic treatment like topical analgesic like choline salicylate and topical anesthetic like lignocaine. Do saline gargling.
