Can Stain Drug Cause Loss Of Memory And Amnesia?

I have been on Stain Drugs for several years...had a heart attack due to clogged artery 2 years ago.ll
I am doing fine i.e. the heart problem....but I am having problems with loss of memory and also lost a certain amt. of time like amnesia....lost time...driving.....continued to drive not realizing what I was doing. Could this be due to the Stain drugs...my other drugs are Beniecar and Metrolol.

A large number of people have reported persistent short-term memory loss associated with statin drug use. Much of the amnesia, forgetfulness, disorientation and confusion with statin drug use results from this synaptic effect. I think, in your case, statin drugs may be the reason for amnesia. You can consult your physician for further management.
