Can Stents In The Heart Cause Anemia And Tiredness?
MY HUSBAND IS A 69 YEAR OLD CAUCASION,HE HAS A DEVINCI PROSTECTOMY IN 2008 WITH WONDERFUL RESULTS. THEN IN 2010 HE HAD TWO STINTS INSERTED IN HIS HEART, 95 % BLOCKAGE IN THE WIDOW MAKE ARTERY.. ALL WENT WELL AND HE HAS HAD A GOOD LIFE, BUT ALL OF A SUDDENHE HAS BECOME ANEMIC AND IS EXTREMELY TIRED. HE IS TAKING PLAVIX, CONIDINE AAND BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS, ALSO PAXIL.. COULD ANY OF THESE PROBELMS BE CONTRIBUTING TO THIS ANEMIA??

hi dear.good job at taking care of your husband. i will suggest you to get a complete blood test done including iron profile with perpherial smear to find out the cause of anaemia. meanwhile you can give him tab livogen once a day for 3 months. consult your docter for any other meds. if he is feeling very tierd then kindly get a cardiac consult. hope my answer helped you. please do rate my answer
