Can Steroids Injections Be Given If Estrogen Replacement Has Done?
I have been told by 4 doctors, including 2 anesthesiologist, that they will no longer give me steroids since i went on estrogen replacement after a complete hysterectomy. A well respected, highly educated physician use to give me steroids from time to time for neck pain. He said there is no way that he would give me these injections, due to the interference it has on estrogen. Do you have an answer to this--most doctors just look lost.

As per your clinical history is concerned, [steroid] cannot be given if you are taking estrogen replacement so discuss with your doctor to stop it. So for neck pain, follow like this:
1) If already tried OTC painkiller then you can discuss with your doctor prescription medication like [Adalimumab] for pain.
2) Discuss with your physiotherapist for the specific exercise plan.
Do follow lifestyle modifications like this:
1) Do physical exercise regularly
2) Try to maintain a proper sitting posture
3) Try to avoid smoking
