Can Sudafed Help Remove Fluid (from Flu) From The Lungs?
I currently have a low amount of fluid in my lungs from the flu. I think I am getting better, it has been a week or so and my symptoms have definitely improved however I feel that there is fluid in my lungs that I cannot get out. I am worried that it might evolve into pneumonia. I have been taking medication for flu like symptoms, but upon further research maybe I have been taking things that only make the situation worse like antihistamines. I have stopped taking the medication except for musionix. Now I need to go get more medication, should I stick with that or should I get sudafed? I have heard mixed advice.
Your question is very vague. What do you mean by fluids in the lungs and who has told you so? I think you mean there is congestion in your lungs. It`s not correct to self medicate oneself. You should consult a pulmonologist or a physician who can examine you and advise you correctly.
