Can Swelling On The Left Arm Also Indicate A Fracture?

I fell on my left arm Wed. Night. It s still swollen above the wrist and hurts on bothe sides of the wrist and about an inch or a bit more above the wrist. However I can still move it and all fingers, but I m hurting and having difficulty with using it normally. I wake up a lot if bumping it etc.. Is it possible it s broken even though I can move it?

Hello
It may just be a sprain but you obviously should have the area x-rayed to rule out a fracture.

Since you have full range of motion, if there's a fracture it would likely be a hairline fracture that wouldn't require casting
