Can Swimming Exercises Cause Delay In Period? Having No Symptoms Of Periods Arrival
I am a 35 year old woman and I have started swimming 2 months ago. I swim 3 days a week for about 1 kilometer. So far my periods were always on time (31 days). However last month my period was 2 days late (on the 33rd) and this month I am already 4 days late and I have no symptoms of an oncoming period. There is absolutely no chance that I am pregnant. Could it be the swimming exercise causing my delay or should I worry about something else like perimenopause?

35 years is not the age for menopause. Swimming does not cause delay in periods. Its unlikely to be of any clinical significance, there is no cause for concern. In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
