Can Take Ibuprofen Instead Of Tylenol When Diagnosed With Congestive Heart Failure?

My husband, age 65, has just returned home from the hospital this evening being diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure (fluid throughout his body) Lasix was given and the fluid is re-grouping and being peed out. He s only home until his exploratory Cardiac Cath is preformed on Monday 03/24/2014. Here s the Question. He was told to take Tylenol, it after 11PM and I only have IBUPROFEN 200mg (NSAID). He s never had any gastrointestinal problems so can he just take 3 ibuprofen and go back to sleep? Denise

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I would say that if your husband is having congestive cardiac failure the why to take the Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen because this drug are nothing to with the cardiac condition that your husband has, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
