Can Taking Lorazepam Along With Oxycodone Be Safe?

My wife was given oxycodone for pain 5 mg to be taken every 4 hours as necessary. She took one at 11 AM , one at 3, one at 7, and one at 11:30 along with a 5 mg lorazapam pill for sleeping. she woke up the next morning saying she was drugged---is this normal ??

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have taken Lorazepam along with Oxycodone which has no adverse interaction. It would not give any side effects as such except there is increase risk of dizziness, drowsiness and difficulty concentrating.

As your wife is feeling drugged this is the only reason behind symptoms. Need not to worry. This is normal.
