Can Taking Tylenol Be Safe While On Phenergan For Bronchitis?

I have bronchitis at the moment and the doctor gave me Phenergan with codeine to slow down my cough for sleeping. But right now I have a 100.4 fever, which is low but I'd like to take tylenol or non asprin to reduce the fever. Is it safe to mix the Phenergan and the Tylenol? Should I reduce the tylenol and just take 1 instead of 2 extra strength?

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your question Phenargan is an anti-allergic while Tylenol is anti-pyretic(fever reducing agent), mild pain reliever and Anti-inflammatory and you can take it with Phenargan as there is no negative interaction seen between the two..
As you have mild rise in temperature one tablet will be sufficient and you need not to take two ..

Once the fever goes down continue taking Codeine..
