Can The Autoimmune Thyroid Disease Be Connected To MVA?

i have had left flank/back pain following a mva 4 yrs ago and have recently been diagnosed with auto immune thyroid disease are they possibly connected i am 57 yrs old and also have cronic cmv I am female my weight has fluctuated from 160lbs to 142lbs

Autoimmune diseases (such as of the thyroid) are not associated with motor vehicle accidents. The cmv (cytomegalovirus infection) is not associated with autoimmune conditions either.
Autoimmune conditions tend to have a hereditary aspect. Inquire with family members if any have autoimmune conditions. One autoimmune condition puts a person at risk for another (such as vitiligo, diabets, thyroid conditions, etc.).
Weight fluctuations can be attributed to thyroid conditions.
