Can The Hospital Be Sued For Wrong Treatment And Medication?
HI, I WENT IN FOR A STOMACH VIRUS AND MY RECORD GOT SWITCHED WITH ANOTHER PATIENT WHO HAD A LUNG EMBOLISM. I WAS TREATED FOR THE LUNG EMBOLISM WITH LOVANOX FOR 4 DAYS THEN I THE HOSPITAL REFUSED TO TRANSFER ME TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL BECAUSE I SUSPECTED THEY HAD MADE A MISTAKE, CAN I SUE?
To sue for negligence four criteria are required. One of them whether plaintiff suffered any damage. Other criteria are as per the requirement in your case. If you also suffered any damage due to negligence you can sue the hospital.
I hope this clears the situation for you. Thanks and regards
