Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can The Procedure, Regenexx-sd, Be Considered In Place Of A Surgery And What Are Its Side Effects?
I have been looking into (regenexx-sd) to avoid the surgery. I wonder if this is a good way to go to avoid surgery? I ve looked at all the data but my concern is side affects. Such as cartilage cells? What is your thoughts? joe
All these cartilage producing medications can work in early stages of arthritis, but their effect is not proven. But in late stages they do not have any effect, and surgery is only solution. You have not mentioned your complains so I think if any doctor had advised you these medications take them for some time and see if they have helped you otherwise opt for surgery.
