Can There Be Any Problem After Taking Tetanus And Rabies Vaccine Post Dog Bite?
Hi, my 5 year old daughter has been bitten by a dog and has now received a Tetanus and Rabies vaccine. The dog's records is not up to date and my daughter has to go for more injections after this. What can we expect after she has had these injections and is there any cause for worry?
Hi, i do care for your concern. Initially having a tetanus shot, and rabies vaccine following a dog bite is more effective and records show excellent result, so need not worry. It is advisable to follow the dog up to ten days following the bite, so as to observe any rabid changes in dog. If nothing happens, need not worry your child is absolutely safe. Follow the vaccination schedule correctly. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
