Can Thyroid Disease Cause Hoarseness?

I have horse throat almost daily. Have been told by one of my doctors might have parathyroid problem am taking calcitrol 3 times a week to see if that helps calcium. Did not think to tell Dr when I saw hi . Just wondering if that might have anything to do with horsenrss
