Can Treated TB Cause Severe Pain In Chest And Shortness Of Breath?
I had glandular tb at 18 months old. 53 years later I m having severe chests pains and shortness of breath. The heart and circulation system was ruled out by the heart clinic. Pulmonary embolism 10 years ago very little scar tissue on lungs. Can t get a diagnosis route at all.
A treated Tb cannot cause you any symptoms with left over small scar. However if there is a tight and sharp chest pain and shortness of breath, you should rule out COPD and asthma by a spirometry. If that is clear then get an angiography done to rule out any cardiac issues.
