Hello,

Paracetamol ( Tylenol) does not have a direct action on blood sugar in the sense that it is not a drug known to lower the blood sugar in its usual dose nor is it used for that purpose.
High doses of paracetamol produces inflammation in the liver and can damage the liver. Liver has a role in releasing sugar during the night when you are asleep and not taking any food so that the blood sugar does not go down to very low levels.
If you have noticed a lower morning blood sugar than your usual when you take an over dose of paracetamol, this is probably the mechanism. I do not think you should use this method to lower your blood sugar as it may harmful in the long run.
Hope this answers your query.
If you have further queries, I shall be happy to answer.
