Can Type 1 Diabetic Causes Heartburn, Thick Saliva And Vomiting?
I've been having an issue, usually but not always when I eat, where I get pains in my chest (sort of like heartburn) and I produce excessive and trick saliva. Its been happening for over a year now on a somewhat regular basis. Sometimes it is worse than other, I have even thrown up a few times while having it. I talked to my family doctor about this awhile ago and he thought that I might have acid reflux but he wasn't sure since my symptoms were rather unusual. I went on acid reflux meds for awhile and they didn't really seem to help all that much. Any idea what is wrong with me? If it matters, I am a type 1 diabetic since 2005.
Dear user, hi! you must undergo barium swallow. it will tell you if there is any constriction, also you need upper GI endoscopy to find out if there is GERD, or hiatus. regards!
