Umbilical hernia would not cause delay in conception. Umbilical hernia appears further up away from the reproductive organs. Most often its the intestines or mesentery that enters the hernia and nothing related to the reproductive system.
You have a relevant past history of ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy when usually its tubal, the cause is usually alteration in the lining of the tube that could be due to infections.Infections in the pelvic region might affect both tubes and in such cases, other complications such as fluid in tubes that would block sperm cell migration is possible. If this happens, conceiving becomes difficult.
There are other causes of delayed fertility which have to be investigated. So it will be important to meet a gynecologist to follow you up.
