Can Unprotected Sex After Period Cause Bleeding?

hai..am 21 year old. and i had unprotected sex with my fiancee on 18th of this month and i took i pill before 24 hrs. after 6 days i started bleeding..what may b the reason.is it a normal period.i have completed my menses on 17th of dis month.and how many days does dis bleeding continues

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to tell you that you need not to worry about the pregnancy as you had sex in fist half of menstrual cycle with absolutely no chances of ovulation around that period.

Now, the bleeding you are experiencing is due to the Emergancy Contraceptive pills that you have taken on second day. Thus, I would suggest to you that you shoul wait and watch for 8-10 days to let the bleeding stop. Also, you should visit your Obgy doctor if the bleeding does not stop.
