Can Uterine Fibroids Be Removed Non Surgically?

Hi I have been diagnosed with fibroids and they are causing me a lot of pain. I am very sensitive to hormones and I don t like that option. I am 42 and physically active I do not want children, however the thought of a hysterectomy is very scary. I just wonder what other ways are there to get rid of them

Hello,

The treatment may depend on size of fibroids, number of fibroids, severity and pathology report.

Medical therapy like GnRh analogues, contraceptive pills or progesterone pills may be useful. Non-surgical methods like uterine artery embolization may also be useful.

Please consult your gynecologist, she/he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
