Can Valporin, flax Seed Or Fish Oil Be Given In Combination For Absence Seizures?
HI,My daughter is been diagnosed with Simple Absence Seizure, she stares and blinks her eyes for few secs, we have been recommended EEG test. Doctor has asked us to start Valporin with folic acid multi vitamins. dosage of 2.5 ml after breakfast and 5 ml after dinner before bed.I was just casually going through researches done on epilepsy and came through an interesting read of taking Flax Seed oil / Fish oil for Epilepsy. I am not so sure if one can take Valporin + Flax seed / Fish oil oil in combination. Also, are there any ayurvedic medi. for epilepsy. Though my Doc says that usually child outgrows absence seizure are there chances that she might get this again in the future...we are vegeaterians, kindly do let me know incase any specific diet is to be followed to avoid it in the future.
