Can Very Low Creatinine Level In Urine Analysis Hint At Adulterated Sample?
Hi, I am involved in legal proceedings whereby parties shave been requested to undertake urine drug testing pursuant to chain of custody requirements. One of the parties returned results where creatinine levels were 0.95 mmol/L. There was a notation on the results that reads very low level of creatinine measured . Is it correct to assume that there is a possibility that the urine sample was diluted and adulterated? Would this justify a request to request a recollection of specimen? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. If creatinine level shows very low then there is chance of dilution or adulteration of sample. You should just fot recollection of sample and compare the results of both. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
