Can Virus (close To Walking Pneumonia) Cause Nasal Drainage Into The Throat?

I recently had a virus, probably close to walking pneumonia, and am still not quite myself. The last few days my teeth have been kind of sensitive and i feel like I have slight nasal drainage in my throat, could that be caused by the virus, or do I need to see a dentist? I don't feel sick really, my mouth just feels uncomfortable. And normally i drink hot tea at night with milk and sugar, but it hasn't tasted good to me.

i would like you to meet your ent doctor as it looks like that you are having a sinus infection, he will examine you and direct you further.

General & Family Physician Dr. Nsah Bernard's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for posting on HCM,

Yes, viral respiratory tract infection can cause nasal drainage but you should be careful to assume that it is only a viral infection as a post-viral infection (now superposed by bacteria infection) might be responsible for your new symptoms.
If this is a problem, then it is an indication for your to see a doctor as soon as you can.

Hope this helps
