Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, the swelling of the edges of the tongue and sores may not be due to the anemia, but there could be recurrence.
Anemia, and B complex deficiency may cause the swelling of the tongue, and sores, Vitamin B 12 deficiency and worms in the intestine can cause the anemia.
Iron oral preparations may not be absorbed for some people , so they may need to have injection form of iron .
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment .
He may prescribe you injection of iron, periodically, B complex, and albendazole.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here if this is the case of low hemoglobin and B 12 deficiency in my opinion first thing you need to do is take care in diet, eat more vegetable and fresh fruit, in medicine you can have B12 supplement and Iron supplement several product available on counter, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
