Suggest Home Remedies For Sore Throat And Canker Sores

Hello, I am suffering from swollen lymph nodes on my neck, a swollen tongue, canker sores, and a sore throat. I am taking amoxicillin, but it is not treating my swollen tongue. It is becoming very hard to speak. Are there any at home remedies? What should I be eating and drinking to alleviate the pain??

Hello
Thank You for contacting HCM.

As you are already taking medicine so i would recommend you to visit nearby hospital for lab evaluation and further treatment. In the meanwhile take a cup of warm water, add 1 table spoon salt in it and perform gargles(mouth wash) with it after every 5 hrs. It will give soothing effect to throat.

Avoid:
> Spicy food
> Drinking
> Chilled water

Hope you get well soon.

Thank You
