Can We Give Coriminic Qr Syrup For 4 Months Old Baby?
Hi, My son, 4 months old, has been suffering from cold (runny nose, sneezing) since last ten days and pediatrician has given coriminic qr syrup, .5ml three time. I wanna know that whether this syrup can be given to three months old baby or not. Thanking you.

Hi...Coriminc contains Pseudoephedrine. This is not a licensed drug in this age group. I suggest you not to use it in this age group. Cough is a protective reflex in this age group. This is how the phlegm is coughed up and swallowed and this will come out in vomiting or motion. I do not suggest any medicines except for saline nasal drops in this age group for relief from nasal congestion.
