Can Wearing Glasses Cause Pain On My Ear?

I wear glasses, and occasionally get a quite a sore pain above my ears (can be either side), and my ear itself is sore to touch. Are my glasses pressing on a nerve? My glasses are very light, and don't dig in to my head at all. But when the pain comes, it is excruciating and I just have to take my glasses off for an hour. Any ideas? Many thanks. Fiona

Hi,
From history it seems that you glass frame might be very tight producing irritation on the skin above your ears causing this problem.
There might be having some allergy of plastic or metal frame.
Make your frame loose from ear side.
find out any allergy of this type.
Apply triple acting cream on the part.
Ok and take care.
