Can You Explain The Use Of These Letsi, Folute, Aspirin, Susten Tablets Prescribed For PCOD?

hello doctor my name is karthi from tamilnadu my problem is i am married its 7months ago my problem is polycist overies doctors gave the tablet but i want to know the use of each and every tablets will you please explain to me about the below tablets
1.letsi 2.5 mg
2.folute 5mg
3.aspirin75 mg
4.susten200 for vaginal use
specially i dont understand the tablet of last one will u please clear my doubts it will be helpful for me

Hello dear,

1. Letsi (pharmacologically Letrozole) helps in induction of ovulation.
2. Folute (Folic acid) helps in prevention of anemia & also protects the fetus from Neural tube defects.
3. Aspirin is used for relief of pain & also inhibits platelet aggregation.
4. Susten is Progesteron vaginal insert, which helps in increasing the luteal phase so that the embryo gets more time to attach on the uterine wall.

Since you have been detected with Polycystic Ovarian Disease, your doctor has prescribed these medicines to facilitate ovulation & maintenance of pregnancy.
