can you please tell me what lobulated means? multilevel for the most part spondylitic changes? I have just had an mri of my cervical spine...also what are craniocaudal or can you give me a definition please? these are located in the Pons part of the brain? sorry its hard to try to type all of these medical terms....
Craniocaudal just refers to the direction of a scan. The cranium is your brain, the cauda equina is your rear, therefore cranial is from your head, caudal means to your butt! As for lubulated, this just means something that looks like a lobule, or something that has lobes, such as a thyroid gland or a breast. Sometimes when things divide or accumulate in a small area they seem to look lobulated, with a structured appearance such as lobulation. It is not a negative nor positive finding, I would not be overwhelmingly concerned. I hope this helps.
