Cause For Discomfort In The Ear?
my wife is suffering from problems in ear. Her left ear has got hole after few days suffering from severe pain. Her head remains heavy, not feeling light for around 20 days. she has been in Peerless Hospital. still not cured. now she is feeling pain in her right ear too.

HI, Hole in ear after pain is suggestive of acute suppurative otitis media. Antibiotics along with nasal and oral decongestants along with analgesics help in resolving he infection of middle ear without perforation. A small perforation many a times gets healed in few days as the infection subsides with antibiotics or otherwise. in case it persists, please see an ENT and surgical repair of hole may be required. If she is feel in pain in the other ear also, a complete ENT examination and specific treatment is required. Regards
