Chain Smoker, Chews Tobacco, And Alcoholic. Any Medication That Can Be Given Without Knowledge To Quit The Habits.
my husband chew tobacco, drink alcohol and smoke on a daily basis. He is very honest and sincere man. He does not want to quit so he wont be ready to go to any psychiatrist. I am very worried about his health. It is affecting our marriage life also. could you please suggest me some medicine so that I can mix in his food and he can get rid of all these. Please help.
Your husband is a tobacco smoker and chewer and also take alcohol. He don't want to quit alcohol. See in market a lot of people or doctors advertise about medicines that can be mixed with food or liquids without the knowledge of patient for de addiction, but most of these are false claims and mostly unqualified persons prescribe such medicines. Previously antabuse or disulfiram used to be prescribed for alcohol without knowledge of patient. But this resulted in severe reactions and even mortality in some alcoholics so these days it is given only when subject become ready to quit. You have to motivate him to quit otherwise it will be very difficult to stop his habit. Try to negotiate with him and then take him to Psychiatrist.
Thanks
